Le'Veon Bell, Devonta Freeman Won't Play MondaySeptember 13, 2021 | 02:35 PM

Baltimore Ravens recently signed running backs Le'Veon Bell and Devonta Freeman will not be elevated from the practice squad to the team's active roster for the Monday night game against the Las Vegas Raiders. The Ravens chose to elevate Anthony Levine Sr. and Justin Ellis as their two gameday activations from the practice squad. Baltimore added Bell and Freeman after losing J. K. Dobbins, Gus Edwards and Justice Hill to season-ending injuries before the season-opener. Veteran Latavius Murray was also signed, and he'll be active in Monday night alongside Ty'Son Williams and Trenton Cannon. Bell and Freeman haven't been productive in the NFL in several years, but they could be worth stashing in deeper leagues for running back depth. However, it's uncertain what their roles would be if they are elevated to the active roster at some point this season.
