Trent Brown Day-To-Day With Calf StrainSeptember 13, 2021 | 02:35 PM

New England Patriots offensive tackle Trent Brown (ankle) is being considered "day-to-day" with a minor calf strain that he suffered in the Week 1 loss to the Miami Dolphins, according to a source. Brown was injured in the first quarter of the game against Miami on Sunday, but it sounds as if he'll have a chance to return as early as Week 2 against the New York Jets. The 28-year-old will likely be replaced at right tackle by Justin Herron if he's forced to miss any time. It's a situation worth watching for an offensive line trying to make life easy for rookie quarterback Mac Jones in 2021.
